Training aircraft crashed in Kanpur on Thursday afternoon, killing one pilot and seriously injuring the other. The accident occurred near Nattha Purwa village along the Ganga.
According to initial information, the aircraft was twin-engined. It reportedly exploded suddenly during the flight before crashing to the ground.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information about the crash and rescued the injured pilot before taking them to hospital. An administrative team also rushed to the site.
