IAF Conducts Successful Drop Test of Khagantak-243 Indigenous Glide Bomb

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully conducted a drop test of the indigenous Long Range Glide Bomb (LRGB) Khagantak-243, marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s precision-strike capabilities.

The glide bomb has been developed by Nagpur-based startup JSR Dynamics in collaboration with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). It is equipped with a 125-kg Mk-81 warhead.

Khagantak-243 can reportedly be released from an altitude of 12 km at a speed of Mach 0.8 and has a stated range of around 144 to 180 km.
