55-year-old Mukesh Gambhir, residing in Adhartal, Jabalpur, has accused a private hospital doctor of serious negligence during an operation. The patient claims that ever since undergoing an operation for a small ulcer inside his mouth, hair has been growing inside his mouth, making it difficult for him to eat, drink, and swallow.

According to the victim, Dr. Arpan Mishra performed surgery for his mouth ulcer in June 2024. It is alleged that during the surgery, the doctor used skin from the throat inside the mouth. Due to the skin transplant, hair has been growing inside his mouth for 19 months. The victim states that before the surgery, the doctor did not provide any information about such potential risks or side effects.

Allegation of taking ?75 thousand cash despite Ayushman Card
Mukesh Gambhir alleges that even after covering a part of the treatment with the Ayushman Card, ?75,000 cash was taken from him. Exactly 5 minutes before the operation, in an atmosphere of panic, he and his family members were made to sign several papers, which stated that the hospital had not taken any extra money.
Traveled to Many Cities, But Found No Solution
As the problem worsened, the victim contacted the concerned doctor, but received no relief. Subsequently, they have visited many large hospitals including Bhopal, Memorial Hospital, and Hoshangabad, but no doctor could find a permanent solution to this complex problem.
Plea to the Administration for Justice and Treatment
Mukesh Gambhir, who is constantly suffering from physical pain and mental stress, has now requested the district administration to conduct an impartial investigation into the matter, provide appropriate treatment, and take strict action against the culprit.
