- Karnal: Voter List Controversy At Anish Bhanwala Home | Aadhaar Fraud Case

In Karnal, four Muslim people’s votes were found registered at the address of Commonwealth Gold Medalist shooter Anish Bhanwala’s house. This was revealed during the investigation of the voter list during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). When the family investigated this, it came to light that Aadhaar cards of two out of the four people were also made at the same address.
A complaint has been lodged by the family at Sector-32 police station. They state that these documents can be used in any activity. Their son is an international player. In such a situation, finding such votes and other documents at the family’s house address is concerning.
When the Booth Level Officer (BLO) was contacted regarding this matter, he said that he had received the voter list. This matter came to light during the investigation of this very list. Only the Election Commission will be able to provide information about when these votes were made.

House bought from electricity corporation officer in 2010
Anish’s father, Advocate Jagpal, said that he is originally from Kasahandi village in Sonipat. Currently, he lives in house number 659 in Sector-6, Karnal. Besides him, his wife Poonam, son Anish, and daughter Muskan live in the house. He bought this house in 2010 from Surendra Mohan. Surendra Mohan was an officer in the electricity corporation.
No Muslim family lived in the house
Jagpal stated that no Muslim family had ever lived in this house before. Surendra Mohan’s family currently resides in their ancestral home in Karn Vihar. These days, SIR work is ongoing. During this time, a new voter list was released, in which people can check their votes and raise objections if there are incorrect names.
Four Muslim people found with voter cards registered at this address
Jagpal said that he also had a voter list with a friend and was checking it. It was during this check that the names of voters registered at house number 659 came to light. The votes of Saif Ali Baig, son of Shahnoor Baig, Shahnoor Beg, son of Aamir Uddin Baig, Ayan Ali Beg, son of Shahnoor Baig, and Hashmin Beg, son of Shahnoor Baig are registered at his house address.

Two Aadhaar cards also found at this address
Jagpal stated that after this, he reached the BLO. There, these people’s Aadhaar cards were requested. Among them, Shahnoor Beg and Ayaan Ali Beg’s Aadhaar cards were also found to be made with the address of house number 659. He says that now it is a matter of investigation on what basis these people provided the house address and under what process the related documents were prepared.
Jagpal said – The one who made the voter cards should also be investigated
Jagpal said it should be ascertained who these people are, where they live, and why and on what basis they provided the address of house number 659. Along with this, it should also be investigated who made the concerned Aadhaar cards and who verified them. It should also be clear under what process these people’s names were added to the voter list and which officer or employee verified them.

Sector-32 Police Station SHO Sunil Kumar said that a complaint was received on Saturday evening. The Election Commission and BLO will be contacted regarding the four people named by the family. Further action will be taken based on the investigation.
