A young man from Guwahati, Assam, brutally murdered his wife just a few months after their marriage. The accused husband severed his wife’s head from her body and also cut off the fingers of both her hands. After the murder, the husband fled.
The case came to light on Sunday when neighbors began noticing a strong stench coming from the house. Following a complaint, the police arrived at the apartment. When they broke open the flat’s lock, they found the woman’s torso in the room.
During a search of the room, her head was found in the refrigerator. The fingers of both the woman’s hands had also been partially severed, and the body had begun to decompose. The police have registered a case and launched a search for the accused husband.
