On Sunday, a day before Ganesh Chaturthi, Sunita Ahuja brought Ganpati Bappa home. During the celebrations, she was seen dancing alone to the beat of drums. Videos of Sunita Ahuja are going viral on social media. After the videos emerged, people asked why Govinda and their children were not seen with her on the special occasion.
Besides Sunita Ahuja, several Bollywood actresses also celebrated the Ganesh festival with great enthusiasm. Shilpa Shetty, Hansika Motwani and Dhanashree Verma were among the many stars who installed Ganpati Bappa idols in their homes and celebrated Ganeshotsav with full enthusiasm.
The Ambani family also welcomed Bappa
As every year, the Ambani family wonderfully welcomed Ganpati Bappa this year as well. Radhika Merchant arrived to seek Bappa’s blessings, carrying her nephew in her arms. Anant Ambani was also present.

A video of Govinda’s wife Sunita celebrating Bappa’s arrival has also gone viral. However, neither Govinda nor their children were seen during the celebrations. She was not wearing slippers either.
Sunita danced enthusiastically with Govinda last year
Last year, reports of discord in Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s relationship and speculation about their divorce made headlines. However, the two were seen together during the Ganesh festival. Their appearance together and enthusiastic dancing at the Ganesh immersion ceremony put the divorce rumours to rest. The Ganpati festival is celebrated every year in Salman’s family
It is worth noting that Ganpati Bappa is installed every year at the homes of several celebrities, including Salman Khan. Every year, Salman Khan and his entire family welcome Bappa at the Mumbai home of his sister Arpita Khan Sharma and Ayush Sharma. On Ganesh Chaturthi, his entire family visits Arpita Khan Sharma and Ayush Sharma’s home in Mumbai. Last year too, Salman Khan performed the aarti with his parents, Salim and Salma Khan.
Several members of the Khan family take part in the prayers on this occasion. His brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, sister Alvira, and the children also become part of the celebrations.
Last year, Salman’s close friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza also attended the Ganpati festival.

Sharing his experience of bringing Lord Ganesha to his Mumbai home for the first time, he had said that he had gone to Andheri station on a bike to bring Bappa home. At that time, his only prayer had been that Bappa’s presence would never leave him on the journey he had set out on. He said that when he stood with all of us, it felt as though the prayer he had made to Bappa had been answered.
Sonu had said that Bappa is the remover of obstacles, who always shows the way and removes difficulties. When he was asked what superpower he would want from Bappa, Sonu said, “I want Bappa to give everyone the strength to end the difficulties facing the country and the world.
Bappa was installed at Palak Muchhal’s home
